Location: Church Road, Celbridge
This project involved the careful renovation of a listed cottage on Church Road, Celbridge, alongside a 40 square metre architecturally designed rear extension.
Great care was taken to preserve the character and heritage of the original cottage, while sensitively upgrading the interior to meet modern living standards. Traditional features were respected and retained where possible, with all works carried out in line with conservation requirements.
To the rear, the contemporary extension was thoughtfully designed to complement the existing structure while clearly defining old and new. The additional space significantly enhances the home’s layout, providing a bright, modern living area that connects seamlessly with the garden.
The result is a successful blend of heritage craftsmanship and modern design, delivering a functional family home while maintaining the unique character of the original cottage.
